In There is Gold in the Ground, Julian is a New York artist and family man struggling to survive. Faced with marital strife, trials in child-rearing, and a career hitting rock bottom, he discovers something that reignites his dreams and pulls him out of the pit.
The show blends themes of faith, art, marriage, and fatherhood into an 80-minute “love letter to slow art” that relies solely on the power of language.
Featuring fresh perspectives on Adam, Eve, Cain, and Abel, reimagined through brand new dramatic verse, the show calls for the rescue of ideas from ancient traditions to meet our modern needs.
