The arts are in crisis, but they don’t need to be. Ancient thinkers knew Beauty and the arts mattered in a way we don’t recognize today. Reviving a philosophical-spiritual view of Beauty means placing it on the same essential level as Justice and Truth, giving artistic craft the same value to society as practicing law or scientific research.
